Break the vicious circle

Most of us grew up more o less in the same way Without father or mother, brought up by our grandmothers Or our sister, brothers, aunties, what else can I say We all walked and fought a long way Thinking that we did very well, who needs a mum or a dad Looking where I’m standing now, I would say it wasn’t that bad We learned to shave, no matter only females where surrounding us And the shame of no knowing them, is now part of the past We only have one thing to be grateful for Thanks to them, we learned what we shouldn’t do They taught us to care, and don’t create any heart sore They gave us the biggest advice without having a clue And yes, we didn’t do that bad But don’t fool yourself with that We were happy during our childhood But with a mum and dad may would have been much good So don’t fool yourself with cheap excuses Use your heart and your commonsense There’s nothing more beautiful than growing with both of them Although this happens only one out of ten Play your cards don’t be scared Been a single parent is nothing to be ashamed Don’t take me wrong, I know that life is not easy But if you have the opportunity, don’t blow it, keep your heart busy Look for someone who you know gonna last Because once s/he is gone, your children gonna blast And the circle would be again completed And the children will grow emotionally distort Yes we didn’t do that bad without dad But our life would be much different and warm, trust me on that Break the vicious circle stop fooling yourself If you’ve the opportunity don’t let your children to be brought up for nobody else Life is tough we all know that, But it appears to be easier went you’ve the support of your dad Some girls asked me no long ago for my goals My answer was to be the best father in the world To provide everything that I never had From outings to the cinemas, to a warm hug Nothing expensive I’m referring to Only basics things, like hearing someone saying I love you That’s the kind of things that give balance to your life Both figures are important, why should we lie I remember to believe that my dad was Mr. T from the A TEAM As he was the only black, that I could see, back in Spain Break the vicious circle ‘cause gonna be a change for you You gonna have the opportunity to offer what they didn’t offer to you Break the vicious circle, two figures is the best option One is expert in fights and shavings the other in bras and menstruation Open your mind, change your past change their future Keeping in mind that yes, we did well But you should ask yourself if that’s what you want for them God’s Son © |

A very deep and insightful contribution to the importance and lasting affect our parents have on us... whether absent or present they have the capacity to inspire or retire our aspirations and dreams.
Keep up the good work
